Works fine but use loctite - quite a few adapters for a "direct-fit" part.
This fits just fine on a 2013 Honda Goldwing F6B, but the amount of adapters and bracketry seems excessive for something marketed as "direct-fit". It also looks a bit small on such a big bike. The quality of the welds and matte black finish is good, so I don't have any qualms about the rack itself, but again - too many adapters on a motorcycle invites vibrations to loosen stuff over time.
I didn't research well enough and didn't realize that this kit requires drilling the body work, as opposed to providing replacement filler pieces to accommodate the mount. All well and good if you are permanently mounting the rack; not so good if you want to ever return to stock. I see some kits listed now, that do include the small plastic pieces, but of course they are more expensive. Haven't used it yet, so no comment on fit.
Update - This mount has been on the bike for several trips with a very large "tour Pack" mounted on the bike using this set up. There has probable been up to 20kg total weight and the mounts appear to be holding up perfectly. By mounting your top case directly to these, you can have an easy "off and on" set up, that maintains the clean look of the F6B when the case is off. When the case is off, I simply put some nice stainless cap screws in the empty holes. Looks stock and hardly noticeable.
Worked as expected, but not for the faint of heart when you have to measure and drill the holes in your cover plates. Measure twice before you drill, or order pre-drilled plates from Honda if you're not comfortable.
