This headset has an amazing feel and, most importantly, is incredibly lightweight / easy to wear while still blocking a significant amount of outside sound. As someone who's sensitive to headaches and has been unsuccessfully looking for non-headache-inducing headphones for a couple years, I couldn't speak more highly about this set in that regard. The sound is also incredibly natural and crisp in all levels, and the set is by far the best I've heard in this price range for classical and folk music. It's a little underwhelming for rocking pop and alternative since there's not a huge bass boost, but that same pure quality is what makes it great for instrumental music. So it really depends on what you're looking to listen to. It goes without saying that the price is amazing... So I'd give it a 5* for comfort, 5* for clarity, 5* for classical music and probably reference listening (though I haven't tested this yet), and 4* for more pop / rock / electronic listening. Clean and honest but without much extra kick. All in all an excellent purchase, and one I'd happily make again if these are still around in a couple years!Read full review

I've bought this headphone for a friend. I know Bose makes quality products always. But for my opinion this headphone is not worth $180. There is nothing special. Just another wired headphone. Cable is detachable (and weak) but they are not even giving two cable for Android and iOS, instead they are selling on different package. I would expect a wireless one at this price. I've compared with other brand headphones at a shopping mall and didn't notice big difference or superiority over the cheaper products. For example near that price there are wireless model at Sony and they are better on basses especially. Conclusion: It is a good quality headphone from a famous brand and comes with carrying case. BUT as I said it is not worth the price. It should be around $100 price range for my opinion.Read full review

It is around ear, so a bit chunky but functions as if with noise reduction. A good thing is that it is very comfortable. You can use it for hours without feeling much. Sound quality is good. I like the way it controls iPhone volume. However, be warned, it is not fully compatible with the latest iPad air 2. Strangely I have no problems with iPhone SE, running the latest iOS.

Was looking for some good headphones for my iPod that were comfortable, had great sound, but not priced over the moon. This was a great find.

I received my Bose SoundLink Around-Ear Wireless headphones today and they work perfectly! I have the Bose SoundSport wireless headphones but they are really bulky on my ears and became a real pain to but under my Hijab when working out at the gym. A friend suggested these for the sound quality and comfort. And yes I agree! 5 stars! Can’t wait to hit the gym tomorrow!
