Successful 38 years ago and now!
I actually used this book 38 years ago to teach my 1 and 1/2 year old to read some words. It was fun! He turned out reaalllly smart. Now I am buying this book again for his 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter! I believe in sight reading over phonics.

tremendous method packed into the pages
Used the method on my children years ago--worked like a charm. Have given the book as gifts to many. People underestimate what children can be taught--this allows them to learn without taking away from being a child--my children begged to play the Reading game
