Great purchase. Fast and the camera isn't bad
It's a great phone. If you're coming from sub 6 GB RAM you can 100% tell the difference. The screen is very clear. It comes packed with features that make it extremely simple yet well equipped and strong. Images and videos are great quality. Runs excellent 1080p video. Camera is not bad. Portait mode is a little wacky but standard camera isn't as bad as most make it out. Battery life is great and I'm on my phone for hours sometimes. It comes bwith built in features like double tap to lock/wake (I was a big fan of this because of my old LG). there's a blue light adjustment built in for not shredding your eyes in low light areas. The size is good. Maybe comparable to the iPhone 7? Fingerprint sensor is QUICK. Ability to edit tab and back button features is awesome. I could go on and on. It's not a pixel in the camera area. It's not an iPhone (but it's damn close imo). OnePlus basically made a Frankenstein phone using the good bits that I personally love from several manufacturers for (what I paid) a third of the price of a flagship. I've received frequent updates already and it's only been a few weeks. Excellent phone for the money
The Oneplus 5t is a great phone, especially for the money. The processor is fast and with 8 gigs of ram it has plenty of temporary storage, and the rear camera is excellent as well. The only drawback imo is that even though it's CDMA and GSM compatible it's not compatible with Verizon and will only run on AT&T towers, so the coverage isn't as good as it could be. That being said, CDMA is being phased out anyway and I imagine Verizon will update their system so it will be compatible eventually.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

My opinion, your decision.
Hardware is the OnePlus 5's main feature. It's not the software packed extra features that come with Samsung or Apple's iPhones. It's what people need to have a good fast phone with out unnecessary or unused special features. Of course if you do want those features or name brands then this may seem lacking to you. Though it's what I want. Hardware speed and software I need , the rest if I want it can be downloaded via play store. 4 stars because I know they can improve some things like Bluetooth & WiFi range. The Best unlocked phone for the money, the 5T is a great buy too.
I used to be a diehard Samsung man but a few years ago I got fed up with the overpricing, bloatware and increasing proprietary nature. I've gone unlocked with LeEco, ZTE and One + and One + has blown all the others out of the water, including Samsung, on performance, looks, battery life just a clean Android device. Great phone, but one minor disappointment.
Under specific light the screen seems to be damaged due to pressure possibly. Didn't consider it a problem until realizing that there's no stock screen protector. That's a little frustrating because now I'll have a line that's on the screen under specific light, like under bright indoor light or under the sun.
