Although this doesn't have the WOW factor the recent Abbey Road Anniversary release has, it's rather interesting to hear and read along with the four track recording process! The studio demos, etc again though, are of particular interest to me! It's fun feeling like you're there in the studio with them!!

A great remix. And record 2 provides a fantastic perspective on the making of one of the worlds greatest ever albums.

I just finished listening and the most astonishing change is the clarity, reverb and placement of the vocals. It's stereo but a lot of the vocals were like the mono mix sounding like they are directly in front of you and not on the left or right. The background vocals seemed to be placed surrounding the lead vocals. You get to hear the three vocalists like you've never heard them before. All lead vocals are amazing in their newly mixed versions. The instruments never sounded more vibrant. Acoustic guitars come through like it's in the room with you. Paul's bass is thunderous but never sounds muddy. The guitar fills that George has throughout the album sparkle and some sounded brand new. Ringo's drums, especially the toms make you feel like you are sitting in front of him. The pressing is magnificent. It's amazing to put a needle on vinyl and hear silence until the music starts.Read full review

Sealed copy of this Beatles classic LP. I bought it to give to my daughter for her birthday which will be in August. Hopefully there will be no issues with the vinyl.
