Very different type of story by Nora Roberts. The first book begins the start of an entire new world when a terrible virus takes most of the life on earth. It’s the beginning of a new type of life with humans and magical beings trying to live together. Really compelling story showing the way humans can survive even in dire conditions. She shows life on both sides with the darkness as well as the light coming through as the different beings learn to survive together.
