They have worked with various theaters in Bakersfield as writers, actors, stage crew, and directors. They co-wrote and co-directed several one-act plays. Their original full-length comedy/drama screenplay The Boys was a semi-finalist in the 9th Annual Writer's Network Screenplay & Fiction Competition. Terry co-starred in the play version produced at Phoenix Theatre in Bakersfield in June 2001.
