Let's be honest, no one likes paying this much for an attic AC filter! BUT... I put the HEPA unit on our new AC system for a reason. This is a better price than Amazon offers. And most importantly, these work! I can get a full year of use from 1 Lennox filter. I have tried 3 other models of Honeywell filters and not one lasted this long, was this sturdy, or had this much activated carbon filtration media. I believe this is a "you get what you pay for" item--.
Appears to be just as good a quality construction as Honeywell or any other furnace filter of this size I have ever purchased. Not having any pets or children in the home I would expect at least a year of service with a 16 MERV.
