I bought this book to have as secondary resource for teaching either "Physics for Engineers" or "Modern Physics at the undergraduate level. I wish this quality of teaching material was available when I was a student. (50 years ago. Wow! How time flies)

This book is a great book for learning physics, especially for beginners. It provides lots of examples and pictures that are easy to understand. My favorite part was the problems after each chapter because they had level of difficulty next to them. For instance, usually the first few were level "I" difficulty. They next few were level "II", and finally the last ones were level "III". This helped to understand what is easy and what is hard, in case you get frustrated on how much you may know.
The book doesn't really have anything phenomonal about it. You can find all the illustrations, problems and examples in most other intro physics texts. But there is nothing that I find wrong with it. It met the expectations I had, just didn't have anything "special" about it. no amazingly detailed explanations or anything. fI tis by all means. . . . an introductory level text book
The quality is amazing and is a great bargain. Unlike other items which you would have to buy the solution book separately, it was included in this one and was very cheap.
I bought this because it was about $100 cheaper then my school was selling them for and it has worked out great. I will definately buy my books online.
