I found very little "warrior" about this book unless you mean the stealth, meditating warrior within. Don't get me wrong, there are some really, REALLY good meditation exercises, but I found this book just scratching a surface and not "meaty" enough. I also found some of his ideas hard to grasp (five sided pyramid? It took me several minutes to realize that the only way that could be done is to lop off the top so there would then be a flat part & you could have that be a side...he never explains this) and he was extremely redundant. Also, his habit of summarizing every chapter at the end was very annoying - it reminded me of textbooks from school. I really loved his first book (thus my purchase of this title) and have great admiration & respect for Mr. Cuhulain, but this book was just not my cup of tea. Wiccan, yes...but largely I felt more into Eastern Meditation & metaphysical concepts.Read full review
This book is wonderfully articulate and refreshingly simplified! A terriffic blend of the basics of the craft that is layed out in easy step by step daily living practices. This is a book that both beginner and saesoned practitioners need on thier must read lists. His style of writting sets the reader into a very compfortable mind set,is easy to follow.I like how he seems to speak to the reader in an everyday tone and manner that does not leave one feeling intimidated or overwhelmed. The aurthor approaches each subject as if he were speaking to a close friend on everyday topics. This aurthor has not been given nearly enough attention! This book should be sweeping the country and our arts the way that "THE SECRET" did after oprah!Thank you KURR, for finally comming out of your shell and sharing the gifs from within your spirit that the goddess has blessed you with.In my opinion this aurthor has finally found his truest gift. Don't stop now.The ONLY thing i didn't like about this book is that it ended.I'm looking forward to the next book out. Best wishes ,your newest biggest fan, petraclace.Read full review
Wiccan's believe in "harm none" so the book essentially helps you to be a warrior for yourself without hurting or controlling anyone else. I found the book interesting and well written. See even tho we don't want to harm anyone we don't believe in letting ourselves be walked all over either. Embrace your inner warriors fellow wiccans.
One of the best books I've read on Witchcraft in years. Simple, direct and to the point, without all the hoo plah and bull, This author knows Witchcraft.
