Grossly under rated horn, more like a best kept secret.
The Pro One Tenor is a wonderfully playing instrument at an unbelievable deal of a price, just received 10/18/22 ready to go right out of the case, I'm almost tempted to buy a second.
It plays with very low resistance, the low notes which often require more attention to play over many horns, are as easy to negotiate as the mid level notes.
The key layout is comfortable with one complaint; the left hand "F" palm key sits relatively low to the point where for me, a palm key riser would be beneficial, although with more playing I should be able to get use to it without that addition.
Don't kid yourself into believing that if it doesn't read; Yamaha, Keilwerth, Selmer, or any other popular brand, that it can't be a class act performer. You'd just be talking yourself out of a great opportunity minus the "Initiation" fee.
