If you love and respect our US Veterans, you will LOVE this movie! It makes me cry every time I watch it, SO heart touching! Betty White is REMARKABLE in this movie and you can 'feel' her emotions in the Character she plays! It's beautifully and tastefully produced and directed and gives the utmost respect to our WWII Vets! It's still a Hallmark Romance movie but with a little different story-line... This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Betty White does an excellent job portraying a widow waiting for her husband’s return but never happens. Never hearing a word if they are ok or their whereabouts. So sad. This is still true for those that have people in the service today. It is so heart wrenching.
