The Solution to a couple of problems.
The FoodSaver folks, in their infinite wisdom, have changed the shape of the accessor attachment, which rendered useless most of my vacuum storage containers. By purchasing this one, I'm still able to use the containers, which was a sizable investment, rather than replacing them.
