That Harley "Sound". Purrs at an idle and roars getting on it.
The installation was very simple. Remove the old mufflers and and install these. Four bolts and two clamps. Could not be easier. I have a black and chrome 2011 Road King and these look fantastic. But even more than that is the sound. That Harley sound we all love. In my opinion these mufflers nail it. Deep throaty purr at idle and roar when hitting it hard. Not too loud, but loud enough to make you smile without being obnoxious and making people mad. Could not be happier. My headers are stock with cats removed. Just right!
Just purchased a 2010 Electra glide police edition with 3,000 mi, stock pipes were too quiet so I went with the Vance & Hines eliminator. These slip-ons for exactly what I was looking for. Excellent looks especially with the black tips. I didn't want something that was so loud you couldn't stand it, but I also wanted my Harley to sound like a Harley. So far I am very happy with my purchase they are not too loud and they have a nice growl! I received the product very quickly, everything was packaged where nothing was damaged with shipping. It probably only took me a matter of 15 minutes to install the pipes. So if you're looking for some slip-ons that are not too loud and give your bike that Harley sound when you're looking for, these are the pipes. I would recommend them to anybody looking to give your bike that Harley selling your after without breaking your eardrums. In the future I'm hoping to put on the Vance & Hines header pipes, but that's going to come later as they are not cheap and you also have to upgrade to a tuner.
