Artec H59 Pickups
I replaced an anemic set of Ibanez Artcore arch-top pickups with these H59 Pickups. Aside from the leads on the neck pickup being a bit short (which was easily remedied by splicing in a few inches of cable, and the difference in pickup height profile (the H59s are a bit shorter height-wise, enough to make an audible difference which was partially corrected by cutting the springs so that the pickup could be raised a bit more. I am still looking for some higher pick up rings. All in all, after these few small caveats the guitar sounds like a different and definitely richer instrument. A large improvement over the stock Ibanez pickups. I especially like the neck pickup (which will no doubt get the most usage. Cheers…! Aspromusic
