Just received it today. Visually appealing but at the same time it doesn’t really look too different than some of their other older flashlights 🔦. Otherwise it’s typical great quality from KLARUS. I am surprised that they used MICRO USB instead of “C”. Most flashlight manufacturers are now using “C” because of its faster charging time but then again MICRO USB is still more common. It does have a “lock out” feature for the switch that’s located on the side, which is a great feature due to the fact that side switches like this -can and have been -accidentally bumped when in your pocket thus turning on the FL...not a good thing. The tail switches cannot be locked out but that is ok, at least for me it is. And yes it is VERY BRIGHT with a good amount of throw but still more of a flood than a thrower and there you go.Read full review

This light doesn’t seem to be 4000 lumens, but could be most likely because the beam is diffused. It has a broad even beam instead of a concentrated long distance throw with a center hotspot. It still has a good throw distance for most applications. The various power levels are versatile and increase the usability of the light. It is a nice size to fit in a pocket. It fits the hand well and battery life appears to be excellent. Overall this is a great versatile flashlight.

VERY VERY BRIGHT!! Works great! More of a floodlight and not a 300 yard spotlight. This will light up a huge area! The light gets hot quick, so using for short times are recommended when using on high. I love it! I will probably buy some more!

Klarus produces high-quality flashlights. I own two (2) XT21X lights; one (1) XT11X light; one (1) XT11S; plus, a bunch of batteries to power all three (3) models; plus, a number of external chargers. I am constantly "on the prowl" for more Klarus flashlights. Klarus flashlights are very recommended by me. Yes, they ARE EXPENSIVE---but as the old time-tested adage states, "You get what you pay for." Low-priced flashlights, especially plastic units, pale in comparison to metallic units. Klarus is one brand, of several high-quality brands, I trust.

I’ve only had it one day but it seems like it’s going to be a nice light. Of course my last Klarus seemed good until it stopped working. Ask me again in 6 months.
