I'm using this on a piston driven 16" barreled AR15 and the optics snobs say this brand is only for airlift and bb guns. I disagree whole heartedly. It holds up to the worst this gun has done. I have let plenty of people try my gun and the 2 things they focus on are this scope and my velocity drop in trigger. It gets tons of compliments and it is plenty accurate. I'm putting bullets side by side at 100 yards. That's with wolf gold 55g out of my 1:7 twist barrel. With a heavier bullet and a better manufacturer I should be able to just open and expand a single hole at 100 yards. Not bad for my first attempt at a homemade AR15. Truly it's the scope that's doing most of the work. It makes the most of my Adams Arms upper and together their performance is very good. I see no need for more expensive scopes. The scope is well constructed optics are clear and the ability to lock down the range and elevation drums is a nice add in. Focus ring with stud is nice and easy to use. The bonus of 36 reticule colors is sort of a joke. We don't need 36. It's actually 12 but three different levels of brightness. Rings are nice and the additional ring lock down screw is good. Mounts attach via a quasi quick detach thumb screw tightened or loosened with a Allen wrench or rod. Nice. Only complaint is with the 44 mm objective lens that the rings could have been maybe 2-3mm higher to prevent the scope bell from bottoming out. Put this unit in an AR10 so we will see how it holds up.

So far I am very happy with this unit...I have mounted the scope onto a Cometa Fenix 400 Break Barrel .22 Slug Gun with new seals and spring, and shot around 200 pellets, the Scope is performing well... The supplied quick release mounts kept sliding back after each shot, no matter how tight they were...I fitted them onto the weapons 11mm Dovetail with UTG Picatinny Rail Adaptors...to eliminate this, I cut down a spare clamp-on dovetail mount making a 'stop' and secured it behind the front mount to prevent the slide back, so far so good... I fitted a UTG 80mm Side Wheel for the SWAT Turret which is great...I don't need/use the Illumination feature... The scope is a bit of an overkill for this weapon, but I use it frequently to remove Pigeons from the area and like the features and high magnification...I'm considering trying it on my .22 Rimfire, but I will need to get new mounts for that...Read full review

Overall, The product was of good quality with the exception of two things. The reticle when you are not zoomed in on a sunny day kinda washes out. The second item is when you turn on illumination the side of the glass it distracting and you can see what seems to be glue and small perfections. The positives for this was for the price this is something you can live with, the rings that came with the product are great and the warranty can't be beat. I ended up buying some Cabela scopes (Covenant 7) that were half off better quality.
