Long awaited album, from sessions prior to break up, one can't expect a brilliant album. Some tunes are obviously unfinished, and other tracks lack enthusiasm, for obvious reasons. But to a avid Humble Pie fan, it's a must have. It successfully brings closure to their great but short history. It has a few great tracks, in fact, it opens with one, where Steve Marriott is able to ace the James Brown tune 'Think', proving that he has a lotta soul for a 5'5" white guy. Greg Ridley shines on this album and does a fair share of vocals, taking the lead on 'Let Me Be Your Lovemaker', probably the best track. Greg finally got a single worthy tune that even had a video made for it. Joint Effort is a nice package, great graphics and photos and a well done vinyl disk that is full of recordings from a crumbling band.Read full review
