The PRRs class P5 comprised 92 mixed-traffic electric locomotives constructed 19311935 by the PRR, Westinghouse and General Electric. A single survivor, prototype #4700, is at the Museum of Transportation in St Louis, Missouri.
The model arrived promptly and was well-packed. Since I’ll be using it for display I can’t comment on its operation. The appearance and attention to detail is terrific. For we display-only folks I only wish there was a switch to turn off the motor while allowing the lighting to operate.
