Perfect hard-to-find bracket (in Canada) for the Acer Aspire A515-55 (and A515-54)
Purchased a refurbished Acer Aspire A515-55 which, while in great like-new condition, didn't come with the extra HDD bracket (Part 33.HGLN7.001) or the cable (Part DD0ZAUHD011 / 50.HGLN7.003) when I opened the casing. With this bracket I was able to install a 2nd HDD in addition to the SSD with no issues. Acer has a tutorial video for this on YouTube called "Aspire A515-54 How to Install an Additional Hard Drive" (though it is noted as for the A515-54, it is the same as A515-55): The bracket was a perfect fit!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

. Very Light weight, easy to fit...
After waiting many weeks the right drive caddy arrived for the Aspire5 from the US. Ultra light weight easy to fit to drive and to the Acer Aspire5. This now gives me two drives, The PCIe Drive "C" and a solid State 21/2 Drive "D" for storage of "Data" files A word of caution for the unwarey, make sure you visually check the mountings required for your laptop drive, The A515 can be very easily cofused with a A513 Drive Caddy mounting bracket or similar units. The Drive caddy will in each case fit the drive but not the mountings in the laptop.......Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It comes with zero instructions does not include screws or the needed cable to use it. However I watched a video of how to install it before I ordered and from that I knew what else I needed to order to be able to use it.
