This MOPAR air intake setup came from a 2012 Charger V6. The filter looks very clean and the only flaw is the pipe closest to the throttle body has a dent. This does not affect performance or installation.

I don't know why this is not stock on all of the V-6's - It is so much better looking and sounds so much better than the black segmented "shop vac" hose! Assembly was easy, just pay attention to the sizes of the hose clamps! The large ones fit the smaller diameter, but not the other way around! Even my wife likes this mod.! Breathing Better
The 3.6L VVT engine in the 2015+ Dodge Challengers is more akin to one found in a minivan than in a purported "muscle" car. Part of that boring look comes from the stock airbox and intake funnel. Thankfully Mopar makes this sweet looking CAI to help alleviate some of those Hoover vacuum-looking pieces. The kit installs in about 20-30 minutes, if you take your time, and is well crafted and easy to install yourself. Once in, it sounds much more like one would expect the intake on a muscle car should. Air filter is a dry-media, so there is no need to oil it, and it has a 20,000 mile service interval for cleaning. The CAI airbox is equipped with a cutout that lines up directly with the funnel from the Hellcat intake (if you elect to run that on your Challenger), but otherwise feeds air the same way the stock airbox does. Overall, this is a very clean, neat, easy to install kit that really dresses up the engine bay and makes the V6 sounds a bit more ballsy than it should. Best part is that it doesn't detract from the fuel economy numbers, either. A total win!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
