For me this is a must have. This is an exact match for the G43X. The finger grooves go in the right spot. It helps fill the hand, making the 43x a perfect fit This helps mitigate the recoil as well. When they are new, they are a little tacky. After some wear the feel is just right, not as tacky as when new. It’s more of just a rubber feel at that point. This helps to give you a familiar feel when moving from one gun to another. The install takes a bit of time, just warm it up 1st, with either a hair dryer, or like I do, let it sit in hot water for about 15 minutes. Dry it and slip it on. You have to really work it to get it on. Be patient, it takes a little time as it is a very tight fit. This is good though, it keeps it in place once installed. You can move it around after the install if needed, but it holds in place pretty well. It’s easily removable if you decide you don’t want to use it, or you need to replace it. This was easy to install with a heat gun. The pistol now fits my hand like a glove. I only did two things to upgrade my Glock. 1) Hogue Grip 2) Trijicon HD Night Sights I stippled the grip initially, trust me, just buy the grip. It is cheaper and quicker than stippling. The stippling did not make the grip thick enough for me. I have the specific model in my Glock 43, also.
