The magpul bipod looks sleek and sexy. It performs as you’d expect a magpul product to perform: it is rugged, and does what it’s supposed to. Some people complain that there is sway in the legs, but that is designed that way, so when you load it, leaning way into the bipod with something like up to 100 pounds, it can handle it. Each leg adjusts to even or uneven terrain, and there is plenty of adjustment in tilt and cant. The only complaint is that it’s $85-100 for polymer. Come on, it cost like $10 to build it, another $10 to advertise. Sell for $50.

Have not used it hunting yet.. However, it seems like a good light weight product, sturdy and smooth action. Glad I made the choice to go with this Magpul Bipod. My other bipod was heavy, uncomfortable and a bit noisy due to the springs, therefore; I was always reluctant to mount it and carry it around.

This bipod is well made and will last. It is not quite as fast as some others I have had and I wish it panned better, but it locks down well, the other movements are good and it is well built. I haven't had a chance to use it a lot yet, but I don't forsee any issues.

Having a bunch of Harris and Atlas bipods on precision rifles ( bolts and ARs), I wanted to try a new Magpul for a new rifle. The design, robustness and finish exceeded expectations. Interesting design features and solid mount and movements. I recommend it and will buy another, FDE next. They are trimmer than Harris ( width) and a good overall height range for bench or ground, truck hood etc. I’m pleased overall, Magpul executed this bipod well.

for the price and brand I would have thought it would be more sturdy. Bought for my 308 but will end up using on 223 or 22
