pros: it isn't having power problems because it creates a bit of heat which is a sign of life and is getting recognized by the system cons: in windows device manager it has an orange symbol next to the device and there is an error: "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12)" the same slot has worked fine with other devices. overall I don't know if I should trust this or just return it. I can try using a PCIe riser because the board I'm using has multiple smaller PCIe slots.
