Ever since Duracell batteries have had quality problems (leaking, sub par power, "duds" in fresh batches, and so on), Energizer alkaline and ultimate lithium batteries have taken over the top spot in my household/shop. Don't know what happened at Duracell and don't much care since the defective batteries have ruined smoke detectiors, flashlights, label lets, and several other battery operated equipment. Batteries are not cheap, so to get the best that money can buy I choose the Energizer brand for alkaline and lithium batteries. ( I am not a paid reviewerer. I was just sick and tired of throwing out ruined equipment because of burst or leaking batteries, or batteries that were dead on arrival or with sub par energy even though still way within expiration date.)

Finally... I'm so excited that I found the elusive battery size needed for my carbon monoxide detector. This value pack came packaged well, and within the timeline specified.

Best brand of batteries at a good price. They don't have to have an 8 year shelf life because they will be used up in a year. But they have a great shelf life too.

IMO, Energizer batteries are the best, although I established this opinion many years ago. It might be that other brands have caught up with them. I used to buy them in 100 lot on ebay from Brooklyn Battery Co. I don't see them on ebay anymore.

I have alot of different types of string lights that require 3-AA batteries so this 100 bulk pack comes in handy and is way cheaper than buying at your regular stores. 😀
