This has been a fantastic heater. Much better than a more expensive one i purchased last year. It has taken 48 hours to get it very warm. It has been left on over night but i cant believe how warm the water has got. Its used in a 12ft frame pool with a solar cover and weather is wet and cold. So if like me you think the more expensive heater better, dont waste your money as this much better at heating water than i ever had with other heaters. Ive read electric heaters are expensive to run but its only for a few weeks im hoping. Although might have a dip myself due high temp water . Tip, press the reset button on the plug cord. Heater then shows d3. Press and hold the on button until ,'On' lit up. Just check every now and again that it still on as the first night it turned off but quickly reset it and not been off since.Read full review

As a whole system works and is pleasure from the normal cold sun reflective heating lol , but comes at a expense that is quite high at about £5-£6 in less than 24hr period and once sand filter has been running couple weeks, the flow regulator on heater starts flashing E1.. Stats to me that the sandfilter pump has got to be at least 90+% to keep heater regulator at bay. So final note would state that it's worth it for likes of myself with disability child as public can be nightmare as a whole..

Good working heater but seriously expensive to run on a daily basis. Better off going solar if possible. Also electrical supply needs to be absolutely correct to suit the high power flow. Not for me.

Yes it is rather expensive to run but really warms our 10ft pool up ....in 12 hours it went from 19 to 36....love it !! But you must be aware how much juice it draws ....I made up a single heavey duty outdoor lead that goes straight into a single socket indoors with a trip socket just to be sure. And you MUST turn pump on 1st and make sure water flows freely. I bought the Bestflow 330 at 1st that did the job but have since bought the slightly stronger 530 which seems perfect for my pool. I was worried about the negative reviews but am glad I bought it now ...kids love the bit of warmth ....nothing worse then teeth chattering !!

Haven't had it long, but was easy to install and set up, leaked a little bit on inlet and outlet pipes as the plastic hose clamps couldn't be done up tight enough, easily solved by wrapping couple of layers of duck tape round the tubes then re attaching the plastic tubes. Seems to work well, gradually increasing temperature over a couple of days, don't expect instant boost in warmth. But at 2.8 kw, could be expensive to run if used extensively. In order to retain heat in the pool, I have put a couple of layers of bubble wrap round the outside of the pool plus a solar cover . Not sure re value for money, seemed pricey to me, and because of the small leakage issue can't really comment on quality or durability yet.
