Awesoe light, no decent holsters available
The light is as bright as can be expected with the batteries it uses for power. The attachment is strong and better then the Crimson Trace laser that attaches in a similar manner. The power switch is also much better then the Crimson Trace unit. The big con with this unit is the utter lack of retention holsters from any reputable manufacture. The only holsters I can find are crap-tastic custom kydex holsters, which are something I personally refuse to use. They lack consistent QC and I have yet to find one with a positive retention system, that will hold the light bearing G-43 or G-42.Friction fit doesn't cut it for me. So other then waiting for Safariland to get on the ball and make a holster I love this light.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Can't go wrong with Streamlight!!!

Great light
I have both this and a tlr1. It's not as bright as a tlr1 but it's not supposed to be. A tlr1 is a duty light, whereas the tlr6 is a concealed carry light or off duty light. Its plenty bright for that application. I certainly feel that it meets the task. Installing it takes around 10 minutes without reading directions.
