Great products for great prices! Package was delivered on time and i have used the at home treatment 2x since receiving it. I had no prior experience with the Olaplex products but did enough research to give it a try. I hv been very pleased with the 3 step system, using it 1x per week, the results have been shiny, less tangly, smoother, more volume, more healthy feeling and looking hair. I since hv purchased the shampoo, conditioner and the smoothing serum and hv used them all. I'm convinced that with continued use my hair will only get better and better as the bonds are strengthened with ea treatment. The products are genuine Olaplex brand.

Based off the first use I will say I can feel and see a slight difference. I want to believe after a few more uses my hair will improve. Easy to use reservoir tube. I also used it to measure 3oz of water for treatment. Dinna know if it's allergy safe....it felt as if my scalp was getting a bit itchy...the same reaction I've had with products I'm allergic to. Has a pleasant smell.

Wish I had come across this product last summer before my Balayage! I got it recently, and have used it a couple times as a stand alone treatment to undo some leftover damages. I see results, I really do. My hair was still somewhat "chewed up" from the bleaching - mid to ends, even after many moisturizing, reconstructing and keratin massage/home treatments. I did an Olaplex standalone treatment according to instructions, but after the instructed time, I added my coconut and olive oils on top of the treatment and sat under the heated cap (trust me: you want to follow olaplex with your regular hydrating/moisturizing routine, as it is not going to make your hair soft and silky. It makes your hair stronger by repairing damage, but won't treat dryness at all). It was good. The second time I left it in the hair longer-- about 2 hours total : 1 with the olaplex (steps 1 and 2), then another hour with the hair oils. It was great! I can tell the difference in my hair while I am still in the shower rinsing it off. Why the 4 starts?? I do believe it is overpriced. Maybe because it "exploded" as Kim K's go to hair savior. Maybe because all the celebrity hair dressers that use it and have proven results. I get it, it works. But it's overpriced. I bought it, I needed it, badly! This is the genuine product, and it worked fantastic. I used it to bleach my dark brown to colored light-amber hair that was in decent condition with a 40 vol developer. In one session got it to light-yellow with almost no breakage. I then have my hair the silver I wanted using this and a whole bottle of Wella-50 cool tone additive with 20 vol, at a 1:2 ratio. Perfect silver hair. So tips for anyone new to this system. Yes it is a system, where using NO 1 alone won't have nearly as good of a result without being followed with NO 2. I have been using Olaplex for years; think of it as a hair preserver during chemical coloring and bleaching. It can't preserve what's not there -- as in if you try to color or bleach already nearly fired or highly damaged hair -- that will end up breaking anyway. I can't stress enough after reading reviews on various websites that people were disappointed, yet wrote how they didn't follow the instructions exact. PLEASE follow the instructions, since this is exact chemistry system to preserve the disulfate bonds that hold together the keratin of your hair. In conclusion: This system will save your virgin to moderately damaged hair a lot of breakage, but it will not preserve already fried or highly damaged hair DURING another chemical process, which has already lost too much.Read full review

I used all three products - I saw an immediate improvement in my hair! Much less dry, split ends seemed to disappear, much softer, and easier to style! I can't express enough what a difference it made - I am extremely pleased! My color seemed to take better and more evenly. It's only been 1 1/2 weeks since I colored my hair so I don't know if the #1 will extend the time between colorings yet. Yes, it's pricey but you don't need much. Try a travel set to see how you like it. I recommend use of all three products (#1, #2, #3) if you color your hair. I will definitely be buying more when I run out!!!
