The walky-dog is a very well made product. The quick release is very convenient. Try walking your dog slowly at first so he gets used to it as shown on many YouTube videos. I started on a mans bike and found out it could be a little dangerous with the possibility of not being able to move appropriately because of the cross bar. I switched to my wife's lower bike without a cross bar and that made the experience much more safe. The dog got used to it very quickly. We have a Jack Russell and on the man's size bike I had to add a few chain lengths to get the proper height. With the woman's bike that was not necessary. In any case I recommend using a woman's bike for the added safety of not having the cross bar. Running the dog on the street also has the added benefit of a pedicure.

Great for running your Dog . No more one handed bike ridding . 3 different spring combinations to help adjust for the size of your Dog. Easily connects on and off your bike. Had one for many years and just bought another. WalkyDog even sells the bike adapter by it self for about $ 20.00 . So you can use it on multiple bikes.

I had been looking for a quick way to exercise my dogs when I didn't have time to take them to the park or for a long walk. The WalkyDog does the trick. It went on quick and feels very sturdy. The cord is easily adjusted if needed. The dogs seem to have a great time trotting alongside. I found that using a comfortable padded harness adds control and takes tension off their necks. We have a great time on our rides around the neighborhood and it really helps my active guys to release pent up energy.

Overall quality of products vastly exceeds what I had expected. I expected GOOD, for sure, but the finish, quality, and attention to detail is excellent. The ONLY negative (perhaps) is the unit is almost OVER BUILT ... it's a bit heavier than expected but that is clearly from the quality of the materials used. The ability to adjust the spring tension, by removing the 1 or 2 of the 3 springs provided, is a bonus. Thinking only the largest dogs will require all three (3).

I have 8 month German Shepard , removed one spring , make sure to tighten good , took 10 min waking the bike and boom we were off and going , she tried to pull and it stopped her and she fell back in place . Great exercise tool for both dog and owner. Used on a beach cruiser under the seat on the post and it works great.
