Amazing focal length and crisp sharpness. Produces stunning pictures with great background compression. Fairly heavy and thick so a bit difficult to bring around.

The first Sigma lens was the 150-600 Sport, and it turned my opinion on after market lenses. At less then 1/3, the cost of the Nikon, I decided to try this big baby out. It proved to be absolutely perfect long lens for me. Now, we own (6) Sigma Art lenses (Nikon) mount. I’m sold on Sigma Art line. If you haven’t tried the Sigma’s you are missing the boat. Move over Nikon And Canon, because there is a new kid in town. And the name is SIGMA. I purchased the Sigma dock for software updates, however to date all of our lenses have been perfect right out of the box,not needing any adjustments period. Please try one of the these lenses from Sigma, they well certainly impress you, and your photographic images. This new 135 is by far the perfect portrait lens. Raiser sharp, don’t cut yourself.

Very high quality. It makes great pictures. It is great for portraits and has very fast autofocus. You can shoot fast moving objects with focus tracking. There were no problems with focusing on Nikon D750, D850. The Sigma dock was not needed to set up autofocus. Everything worked fine! Great lens!

Used the lens for the first time at a Church Easter festival. Took great facial shots of the kids in action. Great in low light settings as well
