It took a little while to get used to this, but now it's great. It takes up less counter space than the 2 brewers we had before (a large Keurig and a Mr. Coffee). You need to brew 1 side at a time but can switch back and forth with the push of a button. The drawback is it will brew whatever water is in there. The single brew side only does 1 cup at a time, and will overfill the cup if you're not careful. You have to keep refilling, unlike a Keurig. Otherwise, I do like the look and functionality.

The brew basked design is bad. I use medium rosy decals and the grounds are finer and their are not enough screens in the basket and the coffee takes forever to deep through I would not recommend this product

Meine Frau und ich are so glad to have this HB coffee in our house. We love coffee and the ability to brew k-cups/pods/singles plus our usual carafe completes our combined needs perfectly. We never knew how k-cups could be such a perfect, next level, coffee “add-on” joy. Hamilton Beach, you hit a home run with this 2-Way Flex Brew Coffee Maker…..Vielen Dank!

This is the second of this Model I have had. Used the first one for several years. Better price than most. I am a 10 cup a day coffee drinker so machine gets a workout 365 days a year. My husband is a early riser and drinks 1 cup a day so it is perfect for his one cup.

I purchased this model coffee make at a local retail store based on the brand name and features. Unfortunately, within a few weeks, something broke internally and leaked water all over the countertop. The store took it back and we received another in exchange. It worked for about a year, then is started leaking like the first one. Out of warranty, I took it apart myself and found an internal hose between the tank and the heating element had come loose from being too short and routed incorrectly. I fixed the hose, and it never leaked after that. Note: taking this apart is not for the novice handyman as it requires special pry tools (like used to fix an iphone) to separate the plastic panels to access the internals. A few months after the hose repair, the electronic clock / timer stopped working, and the unit could only be turned on by unplugging it for an hour then manually pressing the brew button; pretty useless for making that morning pot of coffee. Overall, it is a nice-looking unit, but unless you get it for free or only need it to function for a few weeks, I'd pass on this Hamilton Beach model as the design and build quality are substandard and not worth it even if deeply discounted.Read full review
