Reasonable cost, easy install, excellent signal reception BUT doesn't support Miracast

Easy to install, one slot, one plug. The only trick might be hunting for a free set of pins for your motherboard. So far, excellent signal for wifi streaming. Thus far I have only tested short and medium distancse from the router. Bluetooth works with audio.Discovered one problem: The HDMI wired port works. However, I had bought this card primarily to enable Windows 10 Miracast (to project screen content to a smart TV) on an older PC but it it is apparently incompatible with Miracast. After many tries, tests with other video cards and driver installs I got the message "Your PC doesn't support Miracast, so it cannot project wirelessly' . This wifi card uses a Realtek 8821AE chipset and is apparently incompatible with Miracast I later bought a Brostrend USB wireless setup which uses a Realtek 8812BU chipset and now Miracast works. So if Miracast is important to you, try a different card.

Didn’t work very well for me

My home internet speed is 120mbps, this card gets me 35mbps where as an old netgear 802.11n USB adapter gets me the full 120mbps. The Bluetooth doesn’t seem to support the mic part fo a headset, so on both on my BT headsets, I can only use them to listen to music and not to talk through them, I am disappointed with the item, I’m glad i only lost $16

  • Windows 10 compatible.

I've been struggling with usb wlan cards for a year, not realizing that the problem is probably my motherboards USB jacks (or at least that's what it seems to be). Anyway, I installed this, fired the PC up, and it immediately found my router. It was so fast I didn't even see it being installed! I input the password and it connected quickly. I'm getting about 35mbps which is fine for me (note I had a couple of YT tabs open, but not playing, so that may have reduced speeds). As for quality, time will tell.

  • At least mostly compatible with Linux Mint 19.3 with minor tweaking

Seems to be a good product. As far as I can tell it is supported in Linux. Although it took a little tweaking, I was able to get the Wi-Fi portion working just fine. Whether it is my particular installation of Linux Mint 19.3, my other hardware, or some hardware or software setting in my machine, I haven't yet been able to get the Bluetooth functionality of the card to work. Not being a Linux guru, I can't really blame that on the product. I will say that the reception of the card is not a lot better than the card it was replacing.

  • Love the time spent with this company.

I believe in Bluetooth now. With multiple devices such as my Xbox controller and my headphones and other things. Great Product. Wi fi works well too.

  • Doesn't perform as advertised, don't waste your time & money

Very poor performance. Wifi tested next to two other devices: the EDUP running around 16Mbps, and the other two devices running 110-120Mbps. This device just won't run anywhere close to the advertised speed. Absolute junk, save your money. The bluetooth works but only just so. The signal is weak, rendering an awful sound from my Bose wireless headset (also tested against my phone bluetooth audio). This is just not worth the few bucks you'll save. Spend a little more and get a device that will perform as advertised.

  • Love this adapter

Bought this replace a factory dell adapter, works much better than the original and the other previous one I tried. This is a great Buy and hasn’t let me down! Would buy again without second thinking.

  • Buena compra

Instalé la tarjeta en una desktop computer con Windows 7 Ultimare 64bit, le instalé los driver que están en el CD (compact disk) e inmediatamente revisó la red wifi y se conecto sin problema a la red de mi hogar. ——- I installed the card on a desktop computer with Windows 7 Ultimare 64bit, installed the drivers on the CD (compact disk) and immediately checked the Wi-Fi network and connected without problem to my home network.

  • Horrible lack of signal. Never more than 2 bars.... read on

There are no pros of this card- After installation i have to raise my desktop pc twice as high just to get even LESS signal than my pre built in asus card could give me with my desktop on the floor. I now have SLOWER cut in half internet speeds despite this thing having 2 antennas. Yes its installed correctly or it wouldn't work at all. Total waste of money and now i need to stick my "outdated" card back in or i will have to keep my PC on the ROOF OF MY HOUSE to get more than 2 bars?
