I wanted a replacement foe my Starrett vernier caliper which I never learned to read. Plastic stop prevents it from measuring all the way to 6", lame. Slide operation is crisp and smooth. Already calibrated to zero and ready to rock.
Quality look and feel. Unfortunately, it seems to have a mis-positioned plastic stop that prevents the slide from measuring all the way to 6". It stops at 5.965". See pictures. Kind of lame but other than that the slide operation is crisp and smooth. Found it already factory calibrated to zero and ready to rock. Should be fine for it's intended purpose which is help with reloading large caliber pistol ammunition and measuring to precise safety tolerances and specifications. The included plastic case is decent and a major plus in keeping the tool clean and protected when not in use.
