I'm sure it works fine in the right car. Things happen.
It does nit fit. The other Hitachi MAF sensor at my local auto parts store with different serial number fits my Altima MAFO102. And that's only because of 20% of a Presidents Day Sale. Kinda of shocking for "guaranteed fit" that my Altima plug won't plug into after i double and triple checked fitment.
