Right MBP at the right time... BUT...
Was advertised 100% working but had a battery issue. I ended up having it repaired by Apple, fortunately Apple waived most of the cost to do so. Much better than the 2017 Macbook Pros.
For either the 13 or 15 inch Macbook Pro's Retina model, you literally get the same performance as these newer models nowadays. Yes, it might have higher specs but when you run tests on it, its just slightly faster, just a hairline faster. Plus, it will be way cheaper getting a really lightly used macbook pro retina vs around 2k for a 15 inch macbook pro.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

2021 - this machine is great for work - Zoom, Teams, Miro wont slow it down!
I was using MBP13" 2012 and MBP15 2012 both non-retina Macs. 2012 13-inch was ok until Teams/Zoom was on with screen sharing and incoming/outgoing video. 2015 2.7Ghz 15-inch with GT 650M was ok with Teams/Zoom but it was getting insanely hot - 100C This 2015 MBP15", just works. Might get to 80 but it's max. I specifically wanted non Dual-Card model since I was afraid due to card switching it will be getting just hotter and use more resources. Happy with it so far!
