Quality tool at a decent price. Every bit as powerful as a small gas saw.
Powerful little saw for a 40V cordless. Made quick work of a 35" DBH oak tree that had been dead for a few years in my backyard but still solid, then chopped it up pretty good into large pieces and did some limb trimming before the battery got weak. I have the twin battery 40V mower though, so I was able to keep going until I had broken down the tree and did some limb removal and trimming on some other trees in my yard. My only complaint is that it's hard to get the chain tightened up more after stretching out from it's initial use. In my opinion, it is hanging a little too loose for comfort now and I can't get the chain tightening wheel to take up any more of the slack.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I'm a believer!
The PowerSmith 14" Cordless Chainsaw is light and well balanced. I quickly sawed through a bunch of 4" and 5" apple wood tree trunks and branches in a flash. I can't speak to battery durability but the PowerSmith chainsaw is a blessing compared to my gas operated and corded chain saws. WOW! I'm a believer!. Good Electric Chain Saw
Suprising that it's powerful enough to cut Hard Oak. Battery time is a little less than I expected, good that I bought an additional battery. Side cover needs improvement, it's hard to get side cover aligned with chain tightener pin.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
