Best investment!
Dont listen when people say "coil" your heads if one strips. Those coils are useless at that torque and under a load but these timeserts act as if they are stronger then the original block. Probably is but made fixing an engine mount pulled out of an engine block like a piece of cake. Love the item and glad I ordered!

Saved the day with pulled aluminum engine block threads.
This worked perfectly to repair the pulled mounting hole threads for a 2004 Honda Civic timing belt tensioner. The engine block is aluminum so the threads were completely pulled out. The Time-Sert 1012 is a quality kit. The components are short enough to repair the damaged threads with the engine in the car.

It you have a stripped stud in an aluminum head, This is the way to go. I suggest getting the guide for the tap to get the most out of the new threads, and use a commercial grade high temp thread locker.
