  • Fantastic product - one tiny complaint

These are a fantastic pair of binoculars and I am very pleased. The construction, feel, and quality are excellent. They really excel when observing at longer distances. The only criticism would be the following, and it is minor. When the lens covers are installed on the front of the binoculars, the bands that hold them in place wrap around the body of each barrel. When you fold the binoculars together to get a closer pupillary distance, the bands touch and prevent the full range of travel. I have to remove the bands in order to fold the binoculars far enough together to achieve my pupillary distance. I also purchased the Bushnell tripod adapter and have the same issue when it is installed. The tripod adapter is a great addition because at higher magnification, the shake is amplified when viewing at longer distances. The Bushnell adapter was expensive, but there are plenty of cheaper adapters available that will work just fine. I would just recommend choosing one that is as narrow as possible so it does not interfere with the full range of motion. Again, these are minor issues and I will still rate five stars.
