hard vs soft cover
Make sure you get the hardcover version of this if you will be looking at any of the charts. the Softcover one is all in black and white. Which means you will be looking at charts that are grey, grey, grey, lighter grey, and darker grey.. almost impossible to read. Other than that they are pretty much the same

2002 version is *** OLD *** buy the 2006 version !
I bought the book last year for my grad course and I love it... It has a totally different viewpoint to the hardware design. But the 2002 version is not usefull anymore since technology made a lot of improvements over the past year! BUY THE 2006 VERSION....

Worth the price
I like it. Although it's not as new as I expected, but with such a low price, I can not complain. I would be better if I bought this book with a deal on second hand books later, would have saved another 3 bucks or so.
