Quality Dark Battery Operated Candles with timer feature
These candles worked great. You do need some kind of candle holder or support. I used a small wood block with a hole drilled in it (a little smaller than the diameter so the taper fit into it and supported it nicely) to support the bottom of the candle. They sit right in the middle of my windows on the sills. You turn all of the candles on by screwing on the bottom until the bulb lights (do all candles at the same time). There is an internal timer that will keep it on for about 6 hours. It would be nice if the manufacturer made some with a 12 hour timer, but it is what it is. If you want it to stay on until turned off, you do not want this type of candle. Batteries seem to last at least 2 or 3 months; not as bad as I thought it would be, partly because they are only on for 6 hours per night. If used seasonally, remember to take the batteries out before storing. I've had them before and if you just put them away without loosening the bottom so they don't come on, or removing the bottom; they continue to cycle on and off until the batteries run down and then are very susceptible to leaking batteries (had to replace several because of battery leakage and corrosion).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

These LED artificial candles are great. They have a built in timer that runs about 5 hours at a time. I have mine come on the same time every night as a night light. Best of all is "THE LOOK".
