10 minutes and its done :(
I was extremely excited about getting the bebop 2 power. My initial flights with this bebop 2 went well, I have been flying drones for a little now and feel I'm a decent pilot. On my third flight, my App froze, and the drone did what it was supposed to do and return home, however, it decended down right on top of huge tree, the only tree anywhere around, and it lands on top of it. It fell hitting every branch on the way down busted the drones X frame central cross, screwed up the battery where it locks in and busted the props. I literally had it in the air 10 minutes and the app freezes and I now have a busted $500 paperweight, the central cross are out of stock, found one on eBay, bought it, and now it too is backorded. The whole reason I bought the drone was to take on our vacation around the middle of April. I'm actually struggling with the rating, on one hand it's amazing drone that has a great camera and battery life, very stable and easy to fly. On the other hand, the program or App froze, on a new IPad that runs great, it did return when signal was lost, but off enough to hit a tree and breaking its main support, the central cross it 10 minutes into flying it. I'm a disabled combat vet on a limited income, so to have it 10 minutes and already out a battery and central cross.... I sent an email requesting to know when to expect a central cross in stock, and I recieved a message telling me what I already know, there's none in stock and no expected date that there will be any to order.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

awsome drone with a vulnerable camera
I believe this is one of the best drones out there for the money. there is 1 one vulnerable spot that need to be pointed out . that is the camera. it sits right in front of the drone and actually sticks out. so if the drone hits something or crashes, the chances of the camera getting damaged is 50 percent or higher. the lens can get scratched or damaged. with mine I have to replace the camera. now there are lens protectors available that is wished i would have purchased but I shouldn't have to do that. other than that this is an awesome little drone that I would recommend to any one wanting to fly a drone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I was surprised!
I originally was going to buy a DJI Mavic but didn't like the Geo-fence limitations. The Beebop 2 power has the option to shut this off. I love the long battery life, steady flights, Return to to home is very handy. I love this thing. After losing 2 helicopters to their susceptibility to wind gusts, this Parrot was rated highly again't wind gusts ( auto-stability) and its all true. Well recognized name in the Drone world and parts are cheap. Word of advice; beware of yakkers promoting "enhanced" stuff. Be it batteries or motors...they did not spend anything on research and development. I am 66yo and been a techi since Captain Kirk show me his flip phone.
