Looks and acts exactly like the original...
Looks and acts exactly like the original cover. It's new and seems to work fine. This did not stop my air leak on the suction side. I found a casting flaw in the pump housing at the union input connection. It actually looks like a gap at the mold separation line. I could catch my fingernail on the flaw. I polished the seal surface with 1200 grit waterproof sandpaper, which seemed to help, but there still may be a gap.
