Not very durable buiold quality, but well worth the low price- power cable is not easy to insert, plastic case feels on the light side nd the cable is stiff, but I'm perfectly happy with it for the low price this company offers.

This might damage your console!!
The AC adapter plug does work (and turned on perfectly actually) but it’s heavily hard on the console’s AC port to the point I feel it will break the port every time I take it out. I know I shouldn’t expect it to feel like the official ones but I feel this is a huge issue. I tried trimming it down to the best of my abilities so it wouldn’t damage my console but it still felt like it’ll break it. If you can buy an official Nintendo one, please do so. I did immediately after getting this one and I haven’t regretted it.

The trouble with after market N64 power supplies
Buying power supplies online is a hassle, many don't give you a good look at the pin connectors and so it's a hit and miss game of ordering them, looking to see if they fit, and if they don't ordering another one. The problem with this model is that yes, the pins line up, unfortunately the power supply has a rectangular pin connector housing, and the console has a rectangular pin connector housing with rounded top edges meaning this will fit, but you'll damage the pins in the power supply, or even worse, the pins in your console. Also, because of the shape differences you will also find that the power supply may fall out during play as it just won't snap in. My journey to find an n64 power supply that fits continues.

Good quality replacement cords
This is a good quality replacement set of cables for the Game Cube system. Works just fine. The composite cable also works for N64 and Super Nintendo systems. The AC power adapter cable is only for the Game Cube system, however.

It works, but it's definitely not the original
I picked up a few of these to replace bad power supplies on N64s. They definitely work, and after several months have not had any errors. Unlike the original, these are much more lightweight, they do not have that solid feeling that the original product did. Well this is a little concerning, technology has changed quite a bit over the years.

Doesn't look as pretty as I was hoping..... but it's a power supply so what could you expect...? it works for the gamecube. The GameCube is not as much fun without it.... so having one of these that works is a good thing.
