  • Simply a bad fit! Window hits and breaks the visor!

Hey folks Just let me say that I've had 15 sets of these since I was a kid. I know how to put them on and this was not a user mistake. I personally use the (in channel) style only. That's what looks the best and works the best. Others 3-M tape above the window I'd stay away if I were you. They blow off as time goes by and look cheap and ghetto as well. In channel simply go in the window channel of your door. The rain runs over them not behind it. Weather tech makes the best but my model 2017 maxima has not been released yet. These vent visors are thin. Too thin! That's the first complaint. It has a cheesy white 3 lettered Tampo stamp on it that's 1/2 worn off (already) out of the box! Then after you install them and wait the 24-48 hour (cure) period waiting for the sticky adhesive to dry you should be ready to go. (NOT!) I had put the window down and heard the dam thing pop out into the track. There's so much pressure on the window holding it back you can hear it go back to the way it was originally molded once the window rolls past the last edge of vent. It's just not engineered right period. The end result will be your power window shattering the vent. I shattered both sides up front in 3 min. The seller has been real cool and is going to make it right with me. Don't think for once that this review is about the seller. (It's not) Perhaps other model cars work better? I seriously doubt it though. These are not cheap $$$ so take your money elsewhere and find a different product. I personally recommend weather tech. They are beetween $75-$120 a set for any specific model. I had them on my 08 Accord for 8 years and they worked and looked great the entire time. Worth the extra money BY FAR! American made too I might add. Whatever you choose DONT BUY A SET OF THESE JUNK VENT VISORS! Thanks for reading and drive safely people!
