I bought book for the recipes but it turned out to be so much more. The first part of this book helped me to better understand what is going on in the mouth and throat of someone with Huntington's Disease. Also gives a general insight to what is good and not so good to cook for someone with HD. Things you would think are easy to eat, like rice dishes, are NOT for someone who struggles with chewing and swallowing. The recipes are good and some are fairly simple, too.
A gift for someone who found it interesting enough to begin cooking from it right away. Good choice, and helpful.
