Not worth it
Worked kinda neat for the first 3 - 4 times. Then it stopped, just kinda jammed up. Cleaned it and tried again, same results. So I threw it in the garbage, its not worth the trouble. I mean I have lived without one for 60 years. It seemed like it was pushing the butter faster than it could shred it - maybe my butter was to hard, or to soft. Who knows but I am not going to change the temp on my refrigerator to accommodate a butter gimmick. Oh well, I tried it.

it's about time
Know how Oprah says, I love Bread, well I love butter, trouble is, i hate defrosting cold butter, and while i know it was bad, i just left the butter out on the kitchen table so i would have soft butter. Well, no more. I don't know how long this product was out before i finally saw it, but i wish i had bought it earlier. It works perfect and no more kitchen table butter. This is the greatest thing since, well, hot bread. It is light. It is well constructed, but you do have to follow the instructions carefully when you first buy it, in order to clean it, and prep it. I highly recommend this product.
