The KS Eten-R might not exactly be the best dropper on the market, but for its price it’s hard to beat. The actuation feels smooth and can be setup slow or quick depending on how you like it. I feel like that lever will be an issue, but it works and until it breaks I’ll keep it. For now that actuation feels nice and supple and judging by the fact that this dropper is mechanical and serviceable you can make it last a long time( likely as long as you maintain it). The instructions felt thorough and not too complicated for less experienced bike mechanics. The KS is also only around $100 and is affordable and reliable as a budget dropper for any diameter. Hopefully I’m able to say the same at the 6 and 12 month marks. I’d like to also note that I have a YouTube channel and will be Unboxing and reviewing this at the 6 and 12 month marks like mentioned above, my username is Kiwi_MTB. Stay tuned for updates.Read full review

Thanks to 365 cycles for providing me this product at a great price! They are also very responsive, sending me an email very quickly to see if I am happy with my purchase. As for the seat dropper, it seems to be a great product at a good price, but their install instructions have a lot to be desired!! They have online videos that don't really go over the specific installation of mine, so I had to figure some of it out on my own.

it's a little heavier as the main shaft is steel, but the fixed portion of the seat post is aluminum. It looks well built. Kind of wish the cable actuator was slightly offset to the side. Being on the front means the cable will come straight toward the top tube instead of down toward the side. Or if it's in the rear, it wouldn't have as much interference as the seat stays go downwards anyway. 'd say it's a good entry level dropper post.

I bought this for my son and I like that he can use it even though he is doesn’t weight the almost 70 lb min most other 27.2 posts need to work, but I’d like to be able to adjust the pressure since my son tells me the post keeps dropping on its own while riding.

I love this. I drop it to stop. It is then easy to mount or dismount. I raise it again after I start out, It's working great.
