Not like the old shaving head but good
When I compare this one to the original that came with the razor, it comes up a little short. In what ways? The old shaving head was easier to clean, flip up the heads and run water over it and you're done. This new one requires you to remove the whole head which isn't difficult to do but more time-consuming. This one seems to not be so sharp in cutting your beard as the old. Since the only manufactured ones now for sale anywhere are the only ones to go with, the objections listed here will have no effect if you buy it anywhere. As far as the seller is concerned, I have nothing but praise for the way it was handled and delivered. I would encourage you to use this seller.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor Quality
Rougher shave, and noisier than the original. It remains to seen how long it will last. It is poorer quality, cheaply made, so I don't expect much. Fortunately I was able to find an original RQ12 at a reasonable price. Philips had a good thing with the original RQ12, but as usual with them they messed it up with this so called improvement. Norelco Shaving Head Upgrade
This shaving head is an impressive upgrade of the older design. Each circular head is larger in diameter, so at the same RPM, the speed that the blades cut at is faster. This equates to a smoother, faster shave with less pulling than the older design. The head is also very easy to clean in hot* water. Some previous reviews claim that the blades do not last and the shave gets uncomfortable after 6 months. The higher blade speed across the shaving foil could actually account for this. If you have the Jet Clean System, you will benefit from the lubrication that the cleaning solution leaves behind. I don't have mine anymore, so I will see how it goes. There seem to be some very negative reviews out there. I can only assume that the wild swing in the number of stars people are giving is due to poor quality control on Norelco's part - so I hope they pull it together. At least for me, I am a very happy shaver! *A tip: if you use water to clean it, use warm, not hot water. This will leave some oil from your face on the blades as a natural lubricant that might extend blade life.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well. Plus is that the well below the heads is large, so don't need to clean out every time. Negative is that it no longer has a flip-open top (have to remove entire top), it is larger, and only has two rows of cutting heads vs three. Impossible to clean
The head design is poor. Every time I have removed one of the blades for cleaning, I am unable to reinsert it and lock it in place. In the original head design, cleaning was very simple. Since I cannot completely clean the heads and reinsert them securely, I do not believe I am getting a good shave with this razor and head combination.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value , below par shaving head.
The shaving heads are not face friendly. If I have not shaved in two days the shaver heads pull so care needs to be taken when shavng. Also, tha shave is not a close one unless extra time and care is taken to repeat and repeat the same areas . Not like the original heads that came with the shaver. Easy to clean
The replacement head is better than the original head because it is lighter in weight and very easy to clean compared to the original head. The replacement head shaves very well as did the original head hopefully it will last as long as the original which was 2 years before replacement. Don't get it?
This product replaced the old set of RQ10 blades. No comparison. These shave closer and much quicker. No need for a "break in" period. I regret not making the change a lot longer ago. Not as comfortable as previous heads
I ordered these for my razor and they fit and work fine. this is not the same head I had but fits nevertheless. I plan to keep these but would caution owners to look closely at the product before ordering. I have nothing bad to say abut the order, shipping, or quality of these heads.
