Pleasantly surprised
I’ve been buying and experimenting with these low budget antennas for years. Bear in mind that height is everything, so if you’re down in a hole this antenna won’t perform much better than any other design. If your in Nice unobstructed terrain and just have buildings to contend with this is the antenna you want. Does it perform better than a dipole? Yes. Does it perform better than a j-pole.... if you have height and open terrain, yes. If not... stick with a j pole. Just giving my two cents worth. As far as power handling, this one stays happy at 125 watts with no issues. All in all a great antenna at a great price that’s well-built and worth every penny. Good but was damaged
Its a well made product. Sadly the shipping was very slow and the antenna arrived damaged ( bent ) ,, We managed to have it straightened at additional cost to us. Works very very well. The product was well protected in a very thick cardboard tube. How ever, it was bent in half which caused the damage to the antenna.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
