Great for beginners
This violin may be below the standards for a professional player; but for someone like me, it is perfect. I am a beginner and learning on my own so the fact that it is quieter than an acoustical is quite helpful. I was able to start out practicing in the next room without putting anyone else's ears in pain. Now that I am getting better, when I want more volume I can plug it into my stereo or use headphones and still not disturb anyone. Good value for money - recommend for other beginners
Good value for money if you want an entry level electric violin as a beginner. Would still recommend a good quality acoustic violin if you're learning or having lessons. Tone isn't quite as nice as an acoustic (which is expected), but overall it's a good package. Only problem was that the resin block was broken and crumbled and it's case had come open in transit (so cannot be used), so was all through the segment in the case.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good for playing around but sound is marginal
